I spent many hours trawling the internet and high street department stores for a Persian rug to go in my lounge. I found just what I was looking for at Rugs of Persia sale held in St Hugh’s College, Oxford. Mr. Azari was extremely helpful and understanding as to what I was looking for. A brilliant choice of rugs available to browse and I eventually decided on most beautiful Kashan rug in pale blues on an ivory background. It was just what I was looking for. I would highly recommend and will be back next time you visit Oxford.

We have purchased two beautiful Iranian carpets from Hossein Azari in recent years. Both rugs were purchased at very favourable prices from Mr. Azari’s regular sales in the Caledonia Hotel in Jesmond. We were allowed to take a selection of rugs for testing in our house, and this together with Mr Azari’s helpful advice, made our selection much easier. One carpet is a runner in the hall and the second provides a lovely centrepiece to our dining room. I can wholeheartedly recommend Rugs of Persia.
